Pikachu Kept Me From Writing

That's not just some gimmick to get you to click. I have an Etsy shop and I have a few things for sale on a constant basis. When I filled my last order I forgot to restock. So now I am working my rear off making these cute little beaded Pikachu key-chains and don't have time for writing. I usually keep enough in stock that I can handle orders, which honestly don't come often, so I have a ship in 2 business days policy listed. All I can say at this point is big fat HAHAHA. Must get back to weaving electric rats.

What crafty things do you do? Can you make anything, besides people and a whole new world that is? Make sure you leave a comment to say hello. Don't forget to let me know where you are visiting from so I can follow you back and see what you're up to.

ROW80 August & September Goals Rundown

1. Write 2 Poms every day.
From the title and intro you know that my hands have been bound in a small Pokemon army and have not been free to type.

2. Post for every ROW80 check-in.
I am still doing this! Even if I have nothing, but failure to report.

3. Spend 1 Pom per day visiting ROW80 friends.
OK, so I planned to make this happen, but nothing doing. I still want to know what you guys were up to so I will probably click the old linky and stalk you all. Mwahahahaha. Um, that came out way creepier that I intended. Oh well, no time for edits.

4. Post to Twitter on ROW80 days.
Still on track for this goal. So I guess it wasn't a complete fail of a check-in. I got 50%, though that would be an F if I was being graded. I have sad, but with selling the Pikachus I also have moola and right now that's kinda important.

  1. OK...is it wrong to want to make things even trickier by getting some Pikachus in our lives, too? =)

No, not JUST yet....but they'd be nifty holiday surprises for my Pokemon lovers...

Sounds to me like you're doing fine....the little yellow dudes count!

I draw, take pictures, and organize things. I'd be more crafty, but my fingers are usually busy on the keyboard! =D

    1. It is totally not wrong. Order away! I can make more. I love those little guys. I first made them for my kids Pokemon birthday party. Oh, maybe I could do text to speech while I make them. I always wanted to draw, but I have absolutely no talent in it. Thanks for sharing your other hobbies.

  2. Everyone ALWAYS blames Pikachu. Very cute, btw. I'm pretty good at making food and words, but not a whole lot else. Crafting/sewing projects have about a 47% success rate. Happy electric rat weaving! :)

    1. Oh my goodness! Happy electric rat weaving is the best farewell wish that has ever been used. EVER! Creating delicious food is truly a wonderful talent.

  3. A few years ago I thought I had this great idea - Pillows with Pockets (which is better than blankets with sleeves, right?). So I made some pillows and posted them on Etsy and didn't sell any. I moved on with my life. We have however in the last year, set up an Etsy shop to sell crafts from Kenya to benefit our nonprofit organization, Tumaini Volunteers. We have sold a few items and this all reminds me that I need to update our shop! Thank you!

    Have a great week.

  4. I love those! They're so cute! You're so crafty. I do a few things cross stitch/embroider, watercolor paint but right now I'm consumed in making water counters to sell on etsy lol. Not sure they'll go over or not but they're fun and make getting your glasses of water in easy each day :)

    1. Thanks! What is the name of your Etsy store? I love cross stich, but haven't done it in years. I should...probably not take that up again because I need to write. :-(

  5. Nothing wrong with money. I hand make yule cards, paint a little, colour in my colouring books, a little of everything. I call myself a jack of many trades!

Just remember that each day is a new day, a fresh start for writing and making pickchus. :-)

    1. Yes, a new start. That is a good thing to remember. I also make holiday cards. I would love to exchange hand made cards.

  6. I do nothing useful... well, I make applesauce, I grow things (sometimes), I crochet... I bead, I draw... all hobbies. I've never tried to sell stuff since I tried making grapevine wreaths (wove the wreaths myself not prefabbed stuff from an arts and crafts store... and then got told I needed to make them look more 'natural and real')...

I read. You write. Sounds like you need to do some dictation. ;-) (right?)
