Poms Under Fire

This is obviously a coordinated strike on my writing time organized by my family. Also, just because I'm paranoid doesn't mean they aren't out to get me. I have been struggling hard to make myself sit down and write. There are a billion things on my to do list and every time I scratch one off two more grow back in it's place. I actually screamed at my to do list notebook,  "You are not a freaking hydra!" Then I realized it might be time for a nap.

Please leave me a comment and tell me a time you did something so bizarre you just had to put everything down and quit for a while so I don't feel alone. Make sure to let me know where you are visiting from so I can follow you back.

ROW80 Rundown:

1. Spend 2 poms on plotting using Hiveword.
Even while under assault by my family I managed to sit down Thursday, Friday and Saturday. I didn't make a lot of progress, but at least I was able to write some.

2. Spend 2 poms on posts for this blog.
I only worked on a post today.

3. Spend 1 pom on social media for blog posts.
Nothing, I didn't even try. I totally forgot and the days seemed to have less and less hours as today neared.

4. Spend 1 pom on visiting other ROW80 bloggers.
This has become much easier now that I have a dedicated time to be spent and not a quota of people visited. I spent more than 1 pom because there were Insecure Writers to visit.

  1. The bizarre things I do are so common place now that if I ever did anything normal, my world would stop revolving. Umm? An example? I hate using my dryer, so I hang things on hangers, all over the house and sometimes, I will hang them from the ceiling fan (which I just initially spelled "phan" by the way), and turn it on low so they dry faster. And I do have a totally fine working dryer. I write this now because I have run out of sunshine outside, my clothes didn't quite dry on the line, so I have just brought them in. What's a girl to do? I think it is just a drying thing for me, as I don't own a hair dryer and don't know how to use one.

    1. That is a great visual! With the cloths singing around it must look quite comical. Thanks for sharing.

  2. There might be an otter run randomly placed in my update, for no other reason than that I was half-dreaming, and that's what popped into my head...

    Yeah, I've been there.

Still, you Did Some Things. And that's something! =)

    1. Yea, I have written posts where I would fall asleep in the middle and wake up stunned at the silliness I spewed forth. An otter run sounds interesting.

  3. If it is going to rain and I am at THAT level I will go out and stand in the rain until I calm down. NOt really bizarre, but true. I did this when my PS3 froze and I had to unplug it and then restart it and hope it didn't lose my data (I use it mostly to watch Netflix). I was so mad that when a thunderstorm happened I ran out into the rain to cool off.

Of course, if you want bizarre, I have gone to Denny's/Perkins/Smokey's dress in costume after a show, with my fellow actors.

    1. I love standing in the rain.It makes me feel better, too. I don't think going to a restaurant dressed in a costume is odd at all. We do it dressed in our garb so seems fine to me.
