Moving on up!

So last Thursday night I waited in line for 3 and a half hours, not that bad for a black Friday deal, and got my very first laptop. We have never been able to swing it before, but at the supper low price and realizing that I really need it we couldn't pass it up. I am supper excited. I am thinking that I am still out of the running for NaNoWriMo, but at least I will have better equipment for next year.

Speaking of NaNo I am so far behind that the only light at the end of the tunnel is an oncoming train. According to NaNo I should be at about 40K, but I have not even reached 20K yet. I really like the story, but that pace in November is just not going to happen this year. I am going to continue writing on it and try do about 1000 words a day. This is a much better pace for me and about what I have been doing on the days when I can write.
