So I was in the hospital and not able to post for a while. I am feeling better and am once again able to post. As the title indicates I am easing back into blogging with a one word.
The word is: Wall.
Oh my god what will I do? The walls seem to be closing in on me, but I know it is just in my mind. The longer I sit in this closet the crazier I feel. Trapped like a rat, waiting for a lab worker to come and get me. There was a noise like a freight train and a sucking sound. Things were breaking and crashing all around. When all was quiet I finally peaked out from my mattress to see that my closet was still standing. When I opened the door I saw that not much else was.

Winner and One Word
The blog hop was a lot of fun. I loved reading all the excerpts. I think I might have misunderstood what they were doing because all I had to offer was a flash fiction. Now on to more exciting news, the winners.
The winner of my drawing for a $20 gift cert to Amazon or B&B is: Mary Frances Roya
Thanks you so much for all your comments and I truly hope you enjoyed my story.

The grand prize winners can be found here.
In addition to the awesome news about the lucky winners. I also wanted to leave you with a One Word. The word was cry.
I wish I didn't have to cry, but the best way to get him out of my system is to cry it out. He abused my heart by leaving with a piece he didn't even want. Now I just need to move on, but there is something that keeps bringing me back to him. His eyes, his smile or maybe being forced into situations where I have to deal with him on a regular basis.
Not sure where that was going, but it just popped out.

One Word On Monday
Since I promised myself I wouldn't start working on my novel again until the new year I decided to do another One Word. I love it because it forces you to just spit out something quickly with a small prompt. The prompt word was: Officers
As I drove through our quite suburban neighborhood I saw 2 officers chasing a piglet. They slipped and fell as it squealed and ran. They were ganging up on it, but it was still faster and seemed to out smart them at every turn.
I don't know where this came from, but the visual in my head made me laugh hard. Happy Monday all.

What Can You Do With One Word
I decided to try the One Word and see what I came up with. The word was available and you have 60 seconds to write as much as you can.
She ran through the forest and wouldn't stop until she reached her destination. She needed to get the available information to the right hands. There are several people who would do anything to get what she had. The old tattered page was safely tucked away in her pouch.
I haven't been writing much, but I have been enjoying the holiday season. Even though it is like 77 degrees we are getting into the spirit of the season. We decorated the house and tree. We went to Disney and saw the lights with family.
I also went to see a movie with a great friend and got to pose with Gandalf.
